Football work.

At the moment, I'm basing my work around football, and attending football. In addition to the flags I have started to make (pictures to follow), I'm trying to keep hold of the traditional idea of drawing and painting. Here's some pictures I've done over the last term, working from photos of Ultra's groups I have come across online. Click the pictures to view them larger (I think!).

New Uni work

As promised, I have some new work up now I've finally got my camera working. The picture below is working from some of the photos I took on  recent trip to Glasgow. Reverting back to my usual street scenes, the idea is there is far more to football than just the game. We saw a gritty back-street, so I took a snap and decided to draw it.

The second was from another photo I took in Glasgow, looking down a street, and the decline of th hill, toward the city centre, with a tower block in the distance.

Cracking quote

Last week i started a new flag, a flag with difference.
I heard the quote, "football went downhill when people started washing their hands".

The demise of football in a humorous little nutshell.

Influenced by the work of Fleydon, here, I've been making flags for a few years now.

Something to get started.

2 weeks back I went to Glasgow for football. There is more to football than 90min's of a game. Here's a picture I took, that I'll draw. I'll stick it up later.
